Release notes

Code signing certificate in progress. Until it is issued, the installer is not digitally signed, so Windows SmartScreen may show "Windows protected your PC" when you launch it: click More info, then Run anyway. You can check that the file is genuine by comparing its SHA-256 checksum with the one above (PowerShell: Get-FileHash .\PBRpainter-Setup-0.1.0.exe).

After installing

  1. Launch PBRpainter.
  2. On first launch, choose "Start free trial" (14 days, no card required) or enter a license key if you already have one.
  3. Import an FBX model and start painting.

Updating

Updates are free, whether you are on the free trial or have a license: every version is covered and there is nothing to pay or re-activate. PBRpainter tells you in its title bar when a new version is out — download the installer above and run it over your current install. Your license, your activation on this computer and your material library are kept.
